SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2019

If you are willing to apply for SSC CPO recruitment then you must check the eligibility criteria given here which are as follows:

Citizenship

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen. Or
  • Should be the subject of Nepal or
  • Should be the subject of Bhutan or
  • Must be a Tibetan refugee.

Age Range

  • You must be between 20 and 25 years of age to apply.
  • Applicant must be born not earlier than 02/08/1994 and not 01/08/1999.
  • Applicants of reserved category will be given upper age relaxation as per government rules.
    • 5 years for SC / ST category
    • 3 years for OBC category
    • 10 years for PWD category
    • 13 years for PWD + OBC category
    • 15 years for PWD + SC / ST category
    • 5 years for ex-serviceman

Educational Qualification

  • Applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

Physical criteria

Length

  • The general category candidates should be at least 170 cm in length.
  • Candidates from hilly areas should have a minimum length of 165 cm.
  • The length of schedule tribe candidates should be at least 162.5 cm.
  • Length of female candidates of general category should be at least 157 cm.
  • Women candidates from hilly areas should have a minimum length of 155 cm.
  • The length of women candidates of Scheduled Tribe should be at least 154 cm.

Chest

  • The chest of the general category candidates should be at least 80 cm and inflated 85 cm.
  • Candidates of hilly areas should be at least 80 cm in length and 85 cm in full.
  • The length of schedule tribe candidates should be at least 77 cm and inflated 82 cm.

Other qualifications

  • For Sub Inspector Delhi Police, the applicant should have a driving license to drive a light vehicle (car and motorcycle).

SSC CPO Application Form 2019

Applications for SSC CPO recruitment has been released on the official website from 17 September 2019. You can fill your application form by going to ssc.nic.in. To apply, first, you have to do SSC One Time Registration. Only after registration, you are able to fill your SSC CPO Application Form. Let us tell you that the last date for applying is set to 15 October 2019. Therefore, you must fill your application form till the last date or before. One thing to note is that before filling the application form, please check the eligibility if you are eligible, then apply only otherwise your application form will be canceled. Before applying, please keep a scanned copy of your documents with you. Application fee

  • ₹ 100 / – for unreserved, backward classes
  • Free for SC / ST, Women, Ex-servicemen, handicapped candidates
  • Applicants have to pay the fees through BHIM UPI, SBI Challan / Net Banking or Credit / Debit card.

How to apply SSC Online?

  1. First, go to ssc.nic.in.
  2. Do your One Time Registration before application.
  3. After registration, you can apply for recruitment for which you should apply.
  4. Now click on the link of ‘Apply’ above on the homepage.
  5. Click on the tab of SSC CAPF and apply.
  6. Pay the application fee.
  7. After payment, take a print out of the completed application form.
  8. Print out the filled application form and keep it until the resulting process.

SSC CPO Admit Card 2019

SSC CPO exam will be held from 11 November to 13 November 2019. SSC will issue the admit card for the exam in the last week of October or in the first week of November, before the exam. Applicants will need a registration number and password to download their admit card.

You will be required to bring one of your photo IDs to the examination center at the time of examination. The identity card can be any one of the following:

  2. Passport
  3. Aadhar Card
  4. Pan Card
  5. driving license
  6. Other photo IDs issued by the government

Physical Examination (PST & PET)

For male candidates

  • 100 meters race has to be completed in 16 seconds.
  • A race of 1.6 km has to be completed in 6.5 minutes.
  • 3 chances will be given for a long jump of 3.65 meters.
  • There will be 3 chances for a 1.2-meter high jump.
  • There will be 3 chances for a throw of 4.5 meters (16 Lbs).

For women candidates

  • A 100-meter race has to be completed in 18 seconds.
  • 800 meters race has to be completed in 4 minutes.
  • There will be 3 chances for a 2.7-meter long jump.
  • 3 chances will be given for 0.9-meter high jump.

SSC CPO Result 2019

After the SSC CAPF exam, the Staff Selection Commission releases the results on its official website. After the written examination, SSC releases the list of candidates. Those candidates who pass the written examination are called for physical examination. After this, the medical examination of the candidates is done.
