SBI PO Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2019

For the recruitment of the Probationary Officer, State Bank of India has set certain eligibility criteria which the candidates will have to fulfil.

SBI PO Educational Qualification

  • Candidate must have graduation in any discipline from the recognised University of India.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the Final year/Final semester of their graduation may also apply for SBI PO.

SBI PO Age Limit

  • Candidate must be completed 21 years of age and not exceed than 30 years of age as on April 1, 2019.
  • Candidate should be born between April 02, 1989 to April 01, 1998.
  • Candidates who belong from the reserved category will get relaxation in upper age limit.

SBI PO Recruitment Application Form 2019

Candidates who wish to fill the application form of SBI PO 2019 could apply directly through the official website of SBI from April 02 to April 22, 2019. Candidates could apply only through online mode. SBI will not accept the application form to be filled in by any other mode.

How to apply for SBI PO 2019?

  1. First of all, the candidates will have to go to the official website sbi.co.in/careers or bank.sbi/careers.
  2. There you will see the “Latest Announcements” on the right side of the homepage.
  3. Click on it and you can see “Recruitment of Probationary Officers in SBI” in the dropdown.
  4. Now you have to click on the apply online link.
  5. With an email ID and mobile number, you have to register for it.
  6. Fill the information sought for in the application form carefully.
  7. After completing the application process, you have to pay the application fee.
  8. Application fees can be submitted through online mode.
  9. After reviewing the application form click on the final submission button.
  10. Save the application form for the reference purpose.

SBI PO Recruitment Admit card 2019

A written examination will be conducted for SBI PO Recruitment 2019. Admit cards for the Pre-examination is issued by SBI on May 17, 2019. The pre-examination is held on June 9, 2019. SBI PO Main Examination 2019 will be held on July 20, 2019, and the admit card of the main examination will be issued in the first week of July 2019. After the issuance of the Admit Card, Candidates can get their admit card by the official website. Please carry a photo ID card along with the admit card in the exam centre.

SBI PO Recruitment Selection Process 2019

After the three-phase selection process candidates will be recruited for the Probationary Officers post. The three-phase selection process given below:

Phase I: Prelim-Examination

  • Question Type: Objective type questions.
  • Total Section in the exam: Three Section
  • Total number of questions: 100 questions
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Time Duration: max 1 hour

Phase II: Main Examination

In the main examination, There are both types of examination: objective and descriptive test.

Objective Test

  • Sections in the exam: four sections
  • Total questions: 155 questions
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Time duration: 3 hours
  • Negative Marking: ¼ marks

Descriptive Test

  • Question: English language (letter writing and essay).
