JTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate should be a resident of India.

Educational Qualification

For Primary Teacher (Class I to V)

  • Candidate must have passed higher secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • The candidate must have a 2-year diploma in primary education.

OR

  • Candidate must have passed higher secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 45% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed or in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (known by any name) according to the NCTE (Recognition criteria and procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

  • Candidate must have passed senior secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must have passed senior secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

  • Candidate must have completed graduation degree with at least 50% marks.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.

For Higher Primary (For Class VI to VIII)

  • Candidate must have a graduation degree.
  • Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (known by any name).

OR

  • Candidate must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed or appeared in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must have a graduation degree with at least 45% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed or appeared in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

  • Candidate must have passed senior secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

  • Candidate must have completed graduation degree with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (Special Education) degree.

JTET 2021 Application Form

JTET Application Form 2021 will be available on the official website of JAC, probably in the month of August 2021. Candidates can fill their applications through online mode only. Apart from this, applications will not be accepted through any other mode. Candidates are advised to check eligibility once before filling the application.

How to apply for JTET 2021?

  1. Candidates will have to go to JAC’s official website ie jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
  2. You can see Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 on the main page of the website. Click on that link.
  3. Candidates need to register for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Teacher.
  4. applicants need to fill all the credentials such as applicant name, date of birth, caste, valid email id, phone number etc, validate your number and click on the submit button.
  5. Now login with the user id and password to fill the application form.
  6. Fill all the details in the online application form such as personal details, educational qualification, category and other details.
  7. Review the information and click on the submit button.
  8. Upload the required documents like a signature, photograph etc in JPEG format.
  9. Submit the application fee via online mode or offline.
  10. After submitting the application fee. Click on the final submission button.
  11. Save the application form and take a printout for future reference.

JAC board release the JTET Admit card 2021 before the examination on the official website. The candidate needs his/her user id and password to download the admit card.
