JEE Advanced 2020 eligibility criteria
To be eligible for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2020, candidates need to qualify JEE Main 2020 performance criteria, age limit, attempt limit, examination year criteria.
The eligibility criteria for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2020 applicable to Indian citizens including PIO / OCI are as follows:
- Performance in JEE Main 2020: Candidate should be among the top 2,45,000 artists in JEE Main 2020 Paper 1. This figure may increase if there are “tied” ranks/scores in any category.
- Age: Candidate should be born on or after 01 October 1994 (five years relaxation for SC, ST, PWD candidates).
- Attempt: Candidate should not have appeared in JEE Advanced 2019 or earlier.
- Eligibility Test Year: Candidate must have passed or must have passed class 12 or equivalent.
- Prior admission to IITs: Candidate should not have accepted admission in any IITs earlier.
Those who qualify Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2020 will be eligible for IIT admission if they qualify under any of the following conditions:
- Either she has secured 75% (65% for SC, ST, PWD) in 12th or equivalent examination.
- Or he is in the top 20 per cent of successful candidates in Class 12 or equivalent board examination.
JEE Advanced 2020 Application Form
Applications for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2020 will be launched in the month of May 2020. Candidates will have to visit the official website of JEE at www.jeeadv.ac.in to apply online. Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2020 application form has to be filled only through online medium. Only those candidates who pass the JEE Main examination can apply for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced. Candidates will have to provide JEE Main application number and password to apply for JEE Advanced 2020. Candidates will also have to submit the application fee for JEE Advanced 2020. Candidates must submit their application along with the application fee by the last date.
For Indian citizens including PIO / OCI, the application fee at any center in India is as follows:
- All female candidates – 1300 + GST
- SC, ST, PWD candidates – 1300 + GST
- Other candidates – 2600 + GST
For foreign nationals, the registration fee at any center in India is as follows:
- SAARC Country Candidate – USD 75
- Candidates from non-SAARC countries – USD 150
The registration fee to be displayed in any center in the foreign country is as follows:

JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card
Those who successfully submit the application form by the last date can download the admit card (admit card) of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2020. The admit card can be downloaded at www.jeeadv.ac.in. IIT Roorkee will release Joint Entrance Examination Advanced Admit Card 2020 in online mode only. When this happens, candidates will be able to log in with their login credentials to download it. They should check the details printed on it and if there is any mismatch with the actual details, then one should contact the concerned Regional Coordination IIT representative. Candidates are required to take a printout of the JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card in the examination hall.
