Delhi University Admission 2020 – There is good news for students seeking admission in Delhi University as the National Testing Agency for admission in Delhi University has started the registration process from 20 June 2020. NTA scaled for Delhi University Admissions 2020 on its official website nta.ac.in and DU ‘s official website du.ac.inHas been released at Undergraduate course BA (Hons) Business Economics, Bachelor of Management Studies, BBA, B.Tech, BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences, B.Ed., BSc Physical Education, Health Education & Sports, BA (Hons) at University of Delhi Multimedia and Mass Communication, a five-year integrated program of journalism, conducts entrance tests for admission into a program known as DUET.
Apart from this, the admission process has also started for post-graduation courses at Delhi University. To appear in DUET 2020, candidates can fill the DU Admission Form 2020 by 4 July 2020. Delhi University Admission 2020 (DU Admission 2020)
Admission to various courses in Delhi University will be given only to those students who will be eligible. Admission of the twelfth pass candidates is done according to the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th. DU colleges issue different cut-off lists and merit lists for admission to UG courses. The entrance examination will be held for admission in the remaining other courses for which application forms have become available from 20 June 2020. DU Admission Update
Based on the information bulletin released by Delhi University for UG admission, some changes have been made –
- The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct DU entrance examination.
Delhi University Admission Eligibility Criteria
For admission in DU, candidates have to pass the entrance exam. Only candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria sought can apply for Delhi University Entrance Test. Therefore, while filling the DU admission form, check the eligibility criteria sought correctly. If the student is not eligible to fill the eligibility criteria asked in the application form, then the application form will not be accepted under any circumstances. Only students who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered eligible to apply for DU admission. The eligibility criteria are as follows-
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification criteria for UG courses are given below-
MTech Microwave Electronics
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Must be M.Sc. Electronics or M.Sc. with specialization in Physics Electronics by obtaining at least 60% marks OR
- B.Tech/B.E. Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks obtained
MSc Physics
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Must have passed B.Sc in subjects related to Physics and Mathematics or any branch of Science or Engineering, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% for B.Sc (Hons)).
M. Com
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- BCom (Hons) or BA (Hons) Economics or BCom or BBS. BBA, BIFA And BBE degree from a recognized institute.
MCA
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- A Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 scheme) from Delhi University should have at least one paper in Mathematical Sciences (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operational Research).
MA Political Science
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Should be BA with 50% marks from recognized university / institute or any other Bachelor’s degree (Science / Commerce / Engineering etc.) with 60% marks.
LLM
- Must pass three-year / five-year LLB degree. With 50% marks (45% marks for OBC / SC / ST category candidates)

Delhi University Admission Application Form
All the students have to fill the application form to appear in the Delhi University entrance exam. The information about DU Entrance application form will be released soon on the official website of Delhi University, www.du.ac.in. Students will be able to fill the Delhi University Online Form by visiting the official website. Delhi University Admission Admit Card
All the students appearing in DU entrance exam will get the admit card. The admit card for Delhi University admission test will be obtained only through online medium. After the release of Delhi university admit card, the students will have to go to the official website and download the admit card. DU Admit Card will be released online. Students will be able to get the DU Admit Card by visiting the official website.
Apart from this, we will be able to get it from the link given on our page. The admit card will be issued only for those candidates who have filled the application form in time. After the DU Admit Card is issued, students will have to go to the official website and download the admit card. No hard copy will be sent to any student from the university.

The exam pattern for various UG / PG courses will be as follows:
- Applied Social Sciences and Humanities BA (Hons) Business Economics, Bachelor of Management Studies, and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)
- Exam duration: 02 hours
- Question Type: MCQ
- Number of questions: 100
- Subject: Questions will be based on Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English, and Business and General Awareness.
- Marked Scheme: For each correct answer, 04 marks will be given.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of 01 marks for each wrong answer.
2. B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation) and BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences

- Subject: The entrance examination will have questions on Mathematics, Reasoning and Analytical abilities.
3. Faculty of Education (B.El.Ed)
- Exam duration: 02 hours
- The entrance examination will test the candidates’ proficiency in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences up to class X level.
4. B.Sc. Faculty of Inter Disciplinary and Applied Sciences (Physical Education, Health Education and Sports)
- Admission will be based on the combined weighted average of the percentage scored in the entrance examination (50%), physical fitness test (20%) and sports proficiency (30%).
5. Faculty of Music and Fine Arts (BA (Hons) Hindustan Music, BA (Hons) Karnataka Music and BA (Hons)
- Students have to appear for practical entrance examination in the Department of Music, University of Delhi. And he has to pass.
6. LLB
- Exam Duration: 120 minutes
- Question Type: MCQ
- Number of questions: 100
- Topics to prepare: English language and understanding, general knowledge and current affairs, reasoning and analytical abilities, legal awareness and competence.

Delhi University Admission Result
The result of all those students who will appear in the Delhi University Entrance Test will be released online on the official website. Delhi University Admission Cutoff
Admission in Delhi University is done on two grounds. While the entrance test is conducted for some courses, admission for some courses is taken on the basis of merit. However, the merit list or cutoff is issued even after the entrance examination. DU Cut Off will be released online. Apart from the official website, students will also be able to get DU cut off from the link given by us. After issuing the cut-off or merit list, the students whose name will also appear in the merit list will be called for counselling. Admission will be given to only those students in DU who have scored on the basis of the cutoff.
Delhi University Admission Counseling
Counselling will be conducted after the merit list or cutoff of Delhi University admission. Students selected in DU Counseling will be called. Only those students whose name will appear in the merit list will be called for counselling. During counselling, students have to bring all the necessary documents with them. Apart from this, students will also have to bring a photocopy of documents with them. During Delhi University counselling, students will be able to get admission in the college of their choice according to their ranking.
