CTET Eligibility Criteria 2020
Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V (Primary stage )
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

The age limit of CTET 2020 July Exam:- The minimum age limit to apply for the CTET 2020 Exam is 18 years. However, there is no upper age limit.
CTET Apply Online 2020
The application form can be filled through online mode only. Candidates can go to the official website and fill the application form through the official website. An application form has been released on January 24, 2020. Before filling, online application candidates must read all the instructions carefully. The last date to apply online is February 24, 2020, 02 March 2020. Candidates can go for applying online before the last date after that apply online URL will be disabled. How to apply for CTET July 2020
- First candidates have to Visit official website www.ctet.nic.in
- Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same
- Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
- Upload Scanned Images of the latest Photographs and Signature.
- Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card
- Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.
Online Uploading of Scanned Images:
- Uploading of scanned Photo and Signature is mandatory.
- Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB CTET – JULY-2020.
- Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
- The size of the scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
- Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height) .
NOTE:-The candidates are advised to keep the scanned images of latest photograph and signature of the candidates ready in JPG format

Some important things
- Paper -I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
- A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
- The CTET July 2020 exam will be held in 110 cities across the country in 20 languages. The CTET July Exam 2020 (CTET July 2020 Notification) will be released on August 19. The notification will contain all the information including the language, qualification, syllabus, fee, city of the exam. The CTET notification will be released on www.cbse.nic.in.
