CSIR UGC NET 2020
The CSIR UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. The first examination is held in June. The second exam is held in December. CSIR UGC NET 20 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates desirous of appearing in the examination can see the fixed educational qualification and age limit from here.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have M.Sc, B.Tech, MBBS degree.
- Along with this, candidates doing B.Sc can also apply.
- General and other backward caste candidates are required to get a minimum of 55 per cent marks in M.Sc, B.Tech, MBBS or B.Sc.
- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates should have a minimum of 50 per cent marks in M.Sc, B.Tech, MBBS or B.Sc.
Age Limit
- The minimum age of general category candidates should be 18 years.
- The maximum age of general category candidates has been fixed at 28 years.
- There is a relaxation provision of 3 years in the maximum age limit for OBC candidates.
- SC / ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit.
CSIR UGC NET 2020 Application form
To appear in the examination, first of all, the candidates have to fill the CSIR NET 2019 application form. Candidates are required to register themselves before filling the application form. Registration can be done only through an online medium. The registration form will be released on the official website of CSIR. After the registration process starts, candidates can also register through the link given here. Candidates are required to enter their valid e-mail ID and phone number while registering. After the registration process is over, you can fill the application form. While filling the application form, make sure that you do not make any mistakes. Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to make any changes to it.
June 2020
- The registration form will be released on 16 March 2020 for appearing in the CSIR NET 2020 (June) exam.
- Candidates can register by 15 April 2020.
December 2020
- The process of application for the CSIR NET 2020 examination to be held in December 2020 will be started.
- Candidates wishing to appear in this examination will be able to register from September 2020.
- The last date for registration can be fixed as October 2020.
Application Fees
After applying for CSIR UGC NET, it is necessary to submit the application fee. If the application fee is not submitted, the application will be rejected as incomplete. The application fee can be submitted only through online mode. Candidates can submit the application fee through debit card, credit card, and net banking.
- General candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000.
- Other backward caste candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs 500.
- An application fee of Rs 250 has been fixed for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Disabled candidates.
CSIR UGC NET 2020 Admit Card
Admit card is issued one month after the process of application for CSIR NET is over. The date of issue of the admit card has been announced. The admit card of CSIR UGC NET june 2020 will be released on June 2020. The admit card will be issued on the official website of CSIR. After the release of CSIR UGC NET admit card 2020, the admit card can also be downloaded through the link given in this page. CSIR UGC NET Admit Card will be issued only for those candidates who have not made any mistake while applying. Admit card can be obtained only through online medium.
