The CG PET 2020 exam is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. It is a state-level examination on the basis of which admission is given in the engineering colleges of the state. Chhattisgarh PET is conducted by Chhattisgarh Vyapam. Through this exam, you can take admission in BE / B.Tech, B.Arch etc. courses in engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh state.

CG PET 2020

Candidates must have passed 12th to appear in Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test 2020. Candidates who have appeared in the JEE Main exam can also apply for CG PET. Only citizens of India can participate in this examination. Do check your eligibility criteria before applying. You can see the table below to know some important dates related to CG PET 2020.

Chhattisgarh PET 2020 Qualification’

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (BE / B.Tech) and for Biotechnology
    • Candidate must have passed out of class X with a 10 + 2 system from any recognized board from Mathematics and Physics subject and at the same time, it is mandatory for the candidate to have a subject in Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational.
    • The main three subjects of the candidates should be at least 45 percent marks in Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational while at least 40 percent marks in SC / ST and OBC category.
  • For Bachelor of Architecture
    • The candidate should have passed out of class X with a 10 + 2 system from any recognized board from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics subject as well as 50 per cent marks of the general class candidate and at least 45 per cent of the ST / SC / OBC class. Must be a number.
    • The main three subjects of the candidates should be at least 50 percent marks in Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational, while at least 45 percent marks in SC / ST and OBC category.
  • For Master Engineering / Technology (ME / M.Tech)
    • Candidates should have a four-year BE or B.Tech degree from any recognized university. Simultaneously, the general class candidate should have 50 percent marks and the ST / SC / OBC class should have at least 45 percent marks.
  • For Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharmacy)
    • Candidate should have a four-year pharmacy degree from any recognized university. Simultaneously, the general class candidate should have 50 percent marks and the ST / SC / OBC class should have at least 45 percent marks.
  • For Master of Business Administration (MBA)
    • Candidate should have three years degree from any recognized university. Simultaneously, the general class candidate should have 50 percent marks and the ST / SC / OBC class should have at least 45 per cent marks.
  • For Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
    • Candidate should have B.C.A / B.Sc / B.Com / B.A degree from any recognized university, as well as 50% marks of the general class candidate and at least ST / SC / OBC class, Must be 45 per cent marks.
  • For Diploma (Engineering)
    • Candidates should have passed 10th standard from any recognized board with 10 + 2 system as well as 35% marks in Mathematics and Science subjects (High School).
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) and Diploma for Pharmacy
    • Candidates should have four years B.Pharmacy degree and two years of Pharmacy Diploma.
    • The candidate should have passed out of class X with a 10 + 2 system from any recognized board from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as well as 45 per cent marks for the general class candidate and at least 40 per cent of the ST / SC / OBC class. Must be a number.
  • For Custom Design and Dress Marking (Diploma) and Interior Design Decoration
    • Candidates should have passed 10th standard from any recognized board with 10 + 2 system as well as must have 35 per cent marks in high school.
  • For Modern Office Management (Diploma)
    • Candidates should have passed 10th standard from any recognized board with 10 + 2 system as well as must have 35 per cent marks in high school.
  • For the diploma of architecture
    • Candidates should have passed 10th standard from any recognized board with 10 + 2 system as well as 35% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Science subjects (High School).
  • For Bachelor of Engineering (Lateral Entry Second Year)
    • Candidates should have a three-year diploma in engineering from any recognized university. Also, the general class candidate should have 45 per cent marks and the ST / SC / OBC class should have at least 40 per cent marks.
  • For Bachelor of Pharmacy (Lateral Entry Second Year)
    • Candidate should have two years diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized university. Also, the general class candidate should have 45 per cent marks and the ST / SC / OBC class should have at least 40 per cent marks.
  • For Engineering Diploma (Second Year)
    • Candidates should be in class XI out of Mathematics subject from any recognized board.
    • Candidates should have passed Class X with Science and Vocational / Technical subjects.
  • For Master Computer Application (Lateral Entry Second Year)
    • Candidates should have BCA and BSc (Information Technology / Computer Science) degree from any recognized university. Simultaneously, the general class candidate should have 50 per cent marks and the ST / SC / OBC class should have at least 45 per cent marks.

Age Range

  • For BE / B.Pharmacy / B.Arch
    • The age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years as on 01 July 2020.
  • For Diploma Engineering / MOM / CDDM / IDD / Architecture
    • The age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years as on 01 July 2020.
  • Diploma for Pharmacy
    • There is no age limit.
  • For MCA
    • The age of the candidate should not be more than 32 years as on 01 July 2020.
  • For ME / M.Tech / M.Pharmacy / MBA
    • The age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years as on 01 July 2020.
  • For BE / B.Pharma (Lateral Second Year)
    • The age of the candidate should not be more than 32 years as on 01 July 2020.
  • For Diploma of Engineering (Lateral Second Year)
    • The age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years as on 01 July 2020.
  • For MCA Lateral (second year)
    • The age of the candidate should not be more than 32 years as on 01 July 2020.

Age relaxation

  • Other backward caste candidates, SC / ST candidates are given a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit.
  • There is a provision of relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit for differently-abled candidates.

Chhattisgarh PET 2020 Application Form

The process of applying for the CG PET 2020 entrance exam will be started soon. The last date to apply can be set date April 2020. The application form will be released on the official website of CG Vyapam. Apart from this, the application can be made through the link given in this post. Applications can be made only through an online medium. Applications made offline will not be accepted.

After filling the CG PET 2020 Application Form, it will be mandatory to submit the application fee. Your application will be cancelled if you do not submit the application fee. The application fee can be deposited only through online medium. Candidates will be able to submit the application fee through net banking, debit card and credit card.

Application fee

  • Candidates of the general category are required to submit an application fee of Rs 200.
  • Other backward caste candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 150.
  • An application fee of Rs 100 has been fixed for SC / ST and differently-abled candidates.

Chhattisgarh PET 2020 Admit Card

Admit Card will be issued for CG PET 2020 entrance exam. The admit card will be issued on the official website of Chhattisgarh Vyapam. Apart from this, through the link given in this page, you will also be able to download your admit card. The admit card is likely to be issued by April 2020. It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with the PET 2020 exam. If you do not have the admit card, you will not be allowed to appear in the exam. Candidates are required to bring a photo proof ID proof along with the admit card. Candidates will be able to bring voter ID card, driving license, PAN card, Aadhaar card, passport or school admit card.

  • The CG PET 2020 entrance exam will be conducted offline.
  • In this exam, all the questions are asked in the multiple-choice type.
  • All the questions are given 4 options.
  • A total of 150 marks questions are asked in this exam.
  • The total number of questions is 150.
  • All the questions are of 1 mark.
  • Negative marking can be done in this examination.
  • The entrance examination consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
  • 50 – 50 questions come from all subjects.

Chhattisgarh PET 2020 Answer Key

The answer key of Chhattisgarh PET 2020 is released a few days after the examination. The date for answering CG  Vyapam  Pet 2020 has not been announced. The answer will be released on the official website of Chhattisgarh Vyapam. After the release of the answer, the candidates can guess their marks before the result is released. The answer key can be released in PDF format. Candidates can also register their objections after the release of the answer key. Candidates will be able to download the answer key from this page.

Chhattisgarh PET 2020 Result

The result will be released after the CG PET 2020 exam. CG PET Results 2020 will be released on the official website of Chhattisgarh Vyapam. The result is given the score of the candidates. The seat is allotted based on this score. A result release date has not been announced yet. According to estimates, the results can be released in the third week of May 2020. After the result is released, you will be able to see your result through the link given in this page. The merit list will also be released after the release of CG PET 2020 Result. This merit list is released for the candidates who appeared in the JEE Main 2020 exam.

Chhattisgarh PET 2020 Counseling

Counselling will be conducted after the release of CG PET Result 2020. Only the candidates who have passed this examination can appear in counselling. PET counselling date has not been announced yet. Separate counselling is conducted for candidates applying after Chhattisgarh PET and JEE. To join counselling, candidates are required to register themselves. PET counselling is to be conducted in 3 phases. At the time of counselling, candidates are required to get document verification. The seat is allotted after document verification.
