Bihar National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination 2020
The Bihar National Means Come Merit Scholarship examination is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). The scholarship is awarded to those students of class 8 who passed this examination, who are students of State Government / Indian Government / recognized minorities schools/madrasas. The scholarship will be given to selected students from class 9th to class 12th. Only those students studying regularly in class 8th in the year 2020 in schools run by government/government-funded and local bodies located in the state of Bihar will be eligible for the examination, who have attained at least a “C” grade in class 7th. 6000 / – will be given to the students every year under this scheme. Bihar National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Exam Eligibility Criteria
In order to appear in the Bihar National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMS), first students will have to meet the eligibility criteria. In the event of not meeting the eligibility criteria, the application will be canceled. Students should be fully aware of the eligibility criteria for appearing in the examination.
- Students whose parents’ annual income does not exceed 1.50 lakhs, students can apply.
- 5% discount will be given for SC, ST, and differently-abled students.
- Students have to get at least 55% marks in 9th grade to get regular scholarship. And to get at least 60% marks in class 10th.

Bihar National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination, Exam Pattern
It is mandatory for the candidates appearing in the examination to know the exam pattern. This helps the students to prepare for the exam. Following is the information of exam pattern.
- Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
- The exam will be taken on the OMR sheet.
- It is mandatory for the general category candidates to get minimum 36 marks (40 percent) to pass this exam.
- SC, ST and differently-abled candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 29 marks (32 per cent) for passing the examination.

Answer key of exam is also released by SCERT . Answer will be released on the official website of SCERT . After the release of the answer, the student will be able to get the student’s answer from the link given on this page in addition to the official website. After the release of the answer, students can estimate their score before the declaration of the result. The release date of the answer has been announced. Answer date will be released on 22 November 2019. After the release of the answer, the student can also do an object on the answer key. The last date for objecting on the answer key has been set as December 02, 2019. Candidates will have to give valid evidence while objecting. An application made without evidence will not be valid.
Bihar National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Exam Result
Bihar NMMS result is released on the official website of SCERT. Let the students know that the result is issued online only. No student will be informed about the result through offline, post or e-mail. The result is prepared on the basis of merit list. This merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the examination. Preference is given to students who score more.
